Golf Dictionary, Letter A, Albatross

A Albatross is to make the hole with 3 strokes less than those indicated by the pair of that hole.

For example, if the par of a hole 5 and we managed to hole the ball in just 2 strokes, we have made a albatross.

Previously this hit was called "Double Eagle" (double eagle), but now the term used is Albatross.
